Dr. Anushree Singh

Dr. Anushree Singh is a Visiting Research Fellow (Rural Development and Community Management) at IISD. She is actively involved in Research Projects, involving action Research Assignments at the ground level, especially on Climate Change Adaptation Projects in Rural Areas, involving Community Engagement. In addition, She is a Resource Person for organisating many Capacity Building and Training Programs, on various thematic areas related to her expertise, on Community Watershed Management, Rainwater Harvesting, Agro Biodiversity Assesment, including Rural Livilihood Projects. She also leads IISD's few Online and Offline Academic Course Delivery, on Natural Resourses Management and Social Sustaionability Projects. She is a PhD from Center for Studies in Science Policy (CSSP), JNU with 7 Years of experience. Her PhD Research title was - "Institutional Analysis of Rainwater Harvesting Technologies in the Commons - A study of select areas in Rajasthan".

She is a dynamic and result-oriented Researcher, having rich experience in Research & Analysis, Policy Advocacy and Documentation; Where she constantly leverages diverse methodologies for optimization of resources and enhancement of services. She has worked in the Revitalising Rainfed Agriculture Network Project for small and marginal farmers; where she worked on Draught Animal Power Use in Rainfed Agriculture for data collection and analysis, including preparation of questionnaire, pilot testing, collecting and inputting data into spreadsheets, from 14 partner organisations and 12 states. The study outcome report was presented at Central Institute of Agriculture Engineering, ICAR and MoU was signed between CIAE and WASSAN. Moreover she was also involved in the Executon in Programme Development of Desi Poultry Project and Fund Mobilisation Project through Joint Forest Management in Surajpur District, Chattisgarh; a Project evaluation of Rainfed Agriculture Development Project in Himachal Pradesh and Budgetary Analysis for Rainfed Agriculture Project in Odisha; in addition to various other Research and Execution, Projects related to Agriculture, Fisheries, Desi Poultry, Indigenous Seeds and Millets.
