Sukhneet is Research Associate (Smart City & Sustainable Habitat) with IISD. She is an Architect-Planner with a knack for research in the field of urban and regional studies and is fiercely active to contribute towards constant growth, innovation, formulation, production and dissemination of knowledge and structural processes that are relevant in her field of study. She has a keen interest in exploring the philosophy, history and geography of people, places, practices, objects and associated socio-cultural, ecological, economic and political elements.

She is an alumnus of School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal and has led Live projects during her course period there as a core lead. In addition to this, she also possesses a short industry experience in the architectural frontat an eminent international firm called KGD-A Katera Design Partner in Bangalore, Karnataka.

She brings her expertise in IISD's Smart City Program, Sustainable Habitats Planning and Zero Carbon Cities Initiatives.
