Dr. Parvani Rekhi is Visiting Research Fellow (Agriculture Extension Education and Communication), an Extension specialist, who manages to work in the sector like Agriculture, Training and awareness, formation of Farmers' Produce Organization (FPO), Saving Indigenous Technical Knwoledge ITKs particularly in Himalayan belt, value addition of crops and in addition to the referred sectors Agro-ecotourism, horticulture and floriculture are her area of interest.

Dr.Parvani from Jammu Region, UT-J&K; is a committed agriculture scientist by profession. She did her Ph.D. from SKUAST-Jammu in Agriculture Extension Education and Communication with the specialization in contract farming. She is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in MS Swaminathan, School of Agriculture, Shoolini University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh. She was also a visiting faculty member in V. V. Giri National Labour Institute, Nodia, Delhi. Before joining university, she worked as Senior Research Fellow(SRF) in extramural project funded by Indian Council Research in the division of Agricultural Extension Education and Communication. She is an active member of Centre for Environment and Economic Development (CEED) and life member of Agricultural Economics Research Association (AERA). She is in the editorial board of "Just Agriculture" Newsletter and Technical Advisor of NGO "We the Human". She has more than 5 research paper published in national and international journal to her credits and several popular articles published in local newspaper and various newsletter. She has also two times conferred with Young Women Scientist of the Year at International and National conferences.
