Abhijit Bhoskar is a Research Fellow (Energy Management, Energy Efficiency & Energy Audits) at IISD-CMI. He is having a background in Production Engineering from Mumbai University. In addition, he is a professional Certified Energy Manager (CEM) - being certified by Association of Energy Engineers, USA and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) by Bureaue of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry Of Power, Government Of India. During his varied experience of over last 27 years in different capacities in industrial heating & cooling projects, he has very rich working experience on energy and process equipment like boilers, heaters, pumps, burners, heat exchangers and cooling towers etc. He has held senior positions and hence having the diversified cross functional experience in India, Middle East, Africa and Asian markets, who also has been working on various projects related to capital equipment sales & service and energy cost reduction. He has worked in multiple industrial segments, covering Oil & Gas, HVAC, Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceuticals. He is a Member of many professional bodies, such as Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

At IISD, Abhijit manages the primary and secondary surveys, along with his associates, front desk Research, Consultancy, Strategic Advisory, Action Plan/Report preparation and implementation support for the Pilot Projects, if necessary, in the areas of Energy Management, Conduct Of live Energy Audits and Measurements, Energy Efficiency, Energy Conservation and Carbon Foot-printing. In addition, IISD offers complete A to Z industrial energy efficiency solutions, as per client's requirements to reduce both electrical and thermal energy consumption in industry as well as commercial or office buildings, including carrying out energy assessment, identifying challenges and accordingly recommend appropriate solutions for implementation, where relevant projects can be executed and the energy savings be demonstrated on demand. We at IISD offer, energy auditing and energy Conservation solutions in the area of integrated heating & cooling, steam distribution optimization, HVAC efficiency improvement and waste heat recovery and adequate solution support services in power audit and measurement with overall management strategy, electricity and fuel savings, reduction in CO2e or GHG emissions levels, fuel change-over, in addition to ensuring other intangible benefits like - the demand charges reduction and reduction in energy price per unit of output etc.
